The Kelong Trikora Resort - Bintan Island

Our family holiday was just right for quiet and genuinely warm hospitality. The rooms were cozy, the outdoor showers were unusual in a nice way, and the garden and pool area were lovely. It isn’t a luxurious place, but the service was exceptional. Linda and Erix took especially good care of our four-year-old daughter. She still misses them and keeps asking when we can come back.

In NOV 2024 I stayed at “The Kelong” in Bintan, and honestly, it deserves seven stars. From the welcome onwards, the service was warm and polished. The resort sits somewhere serene and scenic, with lovely water views and lush greenery. The atmosphere felt peaceful and enchanting, whether I was by the beach or walking through the carefully maintained gardens. And the grass is real, not synthetic, clearly looked after with a lot of effort. My suite felt like a private retreat, spacious and comfortable, with elegant details and a bed I loved. Waking up to the ocean sunrise was unforgettable. The restaurants had a lovely range of local and international dishes, and they easily accommodated my dietary preferences. Every meal was a treat, with personal attention from the staff. There’s plenty to do, from relaxing at the spa to exploring the island’s nature. I had a very relaxing, rejuvenating massage. What stands out most is the staff: everyone I met was friendly, professional, and eager to help. They arranged personalized activities and made sure I had what I needed throughout. For comfort, relaxation, and a memorable escape, this is one of the best resorts I’ve stayed at. No detail seemed overlooked, and I’ll absolutely return. If you’re after a special getaway, this place is it.

Linda and everyone at kellong trikora made our holiday memorable by going out of their way to give us a wonderful stay. They asked about our food preferences, suggested meals, served tasty dishes, and arranged activities. When we had to check out at dawn, they even packed us a delicious breakfast. The staff were friendly and looked after our needs. The resort is clean, green, and well maintained, with beautiful surroundings and nice, clean rooms. Location, rooms, facilities, service, and staff all deserve five stars. One of the best resorts on Bintan island.
