BaraCoco sits right on a lovely white-sand beach, and the bungalows are good quality. Our room had a large bed with mosquito nets, two fans, and a spacious bathroom. The shower was quite cold, but we liked that in the warm weather. Breakfast is included. We loved the nasi, and the eggs on toast were decent. If you want a boat for snorkeling or a bike to rent, ask the locals.

The staff were really friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and good. For the same scenery, I think this was the lowest price around. It's popular even on weekdays, so book early if you want a particular room. The location is super convenient, with the beach just a short walk away. You can rent a motorcycle here, and the staff can help arrange a trip over to Liukang Loe island or Kambing Island at reasonable prices.

The beaches were majestic, and it was such a nice place to spend time. We had an amazing experience, with fantastic rooms, delicious food, and incredible service. I especially enjoyed the time we spent with the staff.

The only drawback for me was the heat. There’s no AC, just a fan, so it can still feel quite hot. If you’re after that tropical feel, though, this could be just right. The traditional house has a one-room layout, a lovely private sea view, and hammocks. It’s a beautiful, restful place, with stairs leading down to the beach.

The road in is completely bumpy and unpaved, with no streetlights, so it could be dangerous, especially on a motorcycle or at night. Still, the bungalow view and service were remarkable, and the stay was a good experience for the money :)
