Penginapan Dafandra

A nice place.

The stay itself was comfortable, with friendly, helpful service and a pool, shared kitchen, AC, TV, blankets, and towels. The price is per room and below 600,000 Rupiah, so it isn't as high as the listing might suggest. There seem to be booking misunderstandings because the accommodation doesn't work with online apps. I'd ask them directly before leaving a bad review. For the cost and facilities, I think it's worth it.

My friend booked through Oyo and was told the hotel had no partnership with the app, even though there's an Oyo link on Google. The app showed 60,000, but at the property they asked for 600,000, ten times as much. He'd already traveled 200 km for eight hours in the rain, with the lights out, and arrived exhausted. Since it was night, he didn't want to pay that and head back. SCAM! Be careful, guys. Get used to reading reviews first. A 3-star hotel or higher should be around 200-250 and won't scam you.

The location is the one good thing about this hotel. Google Maps links to an e-commerce booking page, but after making the trip there, they said they don't work with it. They offered another room for 800,000 Rupiah, while the amenities were listed at 60,000 Rupiah. Irresponsible and ugly behavior, and it feels like a scam. Don't trust the online booking links.
