Hotel Komune and Beach Club Bali

The rooms and location made a great first impression, and we were thrilled to find we’d been upgraded. Our first try of the poolside snacks was a bit disappointing, but it was a one-off. Since then, everything we’ve eaten and drunk has been amazing, and the attentive staff have made us feel very welcome. At the Beach Club restaurant, the Indonesian dishes lived up to the hype. We loved the Mie Goreng and Nasi Goreng. The Health Hub’s farm-to-plate approach comes through in the food, and the health juices are amazing and well worth trying. Breakfast there was lovely too. The kids gobbled down the pancakes and creamy porridge, and the farm-fresh eggs from the chicken coop were top-tier. There are plenty of kids’ menu options they enjoyed, and we appreciated that the kitchen made chicken nuggets even though they’re not on the menu. The chef is actively refining the poolside offerings, and you can tell the team puts a lot of heart into the guest experience. We’re having a brilliant stay!

The menu could perhaps change more often or offer a little more variety. That’s a small detail, though, next to how much we enjoyed our stay at Komune Resort with our two kids. The staff and service were excellent. They took every small comment or request of mine into account straight away. The beachfront view is stunning, and the whole resort feels peaceful and balanced. The music is at just the right volume, and the atmosphere is relaxed without getting boring. There’s a lovely garden where they grow fruit and plants, and thoughtful details all around the beautifully landscaped property. The design feels spacious and calm. Families have a kids club, movie nights, activities, and a huge skate park, while couples and solo travelers can enjoy a stylish, quiet place to relax. The gym and sports facilities are modern and well maintained, clearly made for people who like staying active while traveling. We’ve stayed in lots of beautiful hotels, but this one stands out for its concept, space, atmosphere, views, activities, and calm. A real 10/10 for us. We’ll definitely come back.

We spent our first trip to Bali entirely at Komune, and it was pure indulgence. We were there for our niece’s wedding, and everything was impeccably perfect. The staff were amazing and by the end felt like family. I highly recommend this resort as a Bali destination. 10/10.
