Swan Paradise A Pramana Experience

The room and the resort itself were quite nice, but the experience felt eerie. There was construction, a group of men, and no security or staff keeping watch over what they were doing. I wouldn’t consider this resort safe for kids or teens. The staff weren’t very friendly or helpful, and neither were the recommended drivers. The restaurant staff were the one exception. My daughter and I had a very bad experience here.

The property is big, but it felt oddly deserted, almost as if we were the only guests. Many rooms seemed empty, and there was nobody around the quiet pool. Our room also had a noticeable moldy smell, which made it less comfortable. The helpful, polite staff were a plus, and the food was OK.

The kids were happy enough staying around the hotel, and so was I. We spent five days here, and the pools were just the right temperature, our rooms were cleaned perfectly, and the food was delicious. The staff went above and beyond to keep us comfortable, and I even got a lovely massage. I might have liked the kids to want to go out and try more things, but the hotel had everything we needed. I went with an 11-year-old girl and a 10-year-old boy. We did visit the monkey forest and Waterbom, but this is a good choice if you want a kid-friendly, relaxing stay away from the main tourist areas. We loved our visit.

The room was on the small side, and the bathroom, especially the shower, could use an upgrade. The food was simple and could be better. We only stayed one night, though, and really enjoyed the pool, which was wonderfully relaxing and the perfect temperature. The shuttle was a nice extra and made getting around easy. It was a pleasant short visit.
