Hotel Harmoni Tasikmalaya

I stayed one night on a business trip in Tasik. The cozy hotel is right downtown, near Great Mosque of Tasikmalaya, with lots of food places around. It’s easy to reach from the train station on foot or by "becak", and a walk around the city is a good way to sightsee. There’s also a coffee shop beside the hotel. The room was clean and relatively larger than the nearest competitor, and that cleanliness seemed well maintained. Staff were friendly and the room Wi-Fi was fairly fast. Breakfast was ordinary overall. The taste was quite good, but the selection was smaller than at another three-star hotel. I wouldn’t recommend the Bubur Ayam, and the Nasi Goreng was a little plain. One really disappointing part was check-in. I arrived in the rain for my first visit and found that the parking area was separate from the hotel. I was soaked, and the staff didn’t offer or lend me an umbrella. Also, while working Wfa in the room, the dashboard near the refrigerator felt hot. Maybe the refrigerator was overheating. The air conditioner couldn’t make much difference with other electronics heating the room, so I had to work Wfa on the bed. The amenities were also frugal, with small bottles, which made me feel less free.
