A quiet rice-field setting, a private plunge pool, and an outdoor tub made our stay at The Pulu Villas by Genuine Host feel like pure relaxation. The villa was stunning, the bed super comfy, and the view of the rice fields left us speechless. It’s about a 20-minute bike ride to Ubud centre, so exploring is convenient while the place still feels tucked away. We also had a floating breakfast one morning, which was a memorable treat. There were tiny ants in the room, but bugs are inevitable in a tropical setting. The villa supplies a mosquito repellent plug, and we didn’t see any mosquitoes. Bottled water was provided every day for drinking and brushing our teeth. Just a short walk away, less than two minutes, is Yeh Pulu Cafe, where the food and drinks were exceptional. We enjoyed it several times. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and attentive. There are quite a lot of stairs, so if you have heavy luggage, message the staff on WhatsApp when you arrive. They’re happy to help carry it to your room or the lobby. We left feeling relaxed and can’t recommend the villa highly enough for its luxury, calm, and genuine hospitality.

The staff were so kind and friendly, and we really enjoyed our stay. The Pulu Villas is peaceful, surrounded by rice fields, and a lovely spot for couples wanting to relax together. Our villa was cozy and spacious, with a hot tub, private pool, and hammock for lounging and enjoying the moment close to nature. It feels quiet without being too far away, since you can still book a GrabCar or order GrabFood if you need something. We’d happily come back.

Waking up to that stunning view and unwinding in our private plunge pool were highlights. The villas are brand new, beautiful, and well maintained, and the staff made us feel welcome from the start. My partner had a wonderful massage, and we tried the restaurant. It was easily the best food we had in Bali. We only wish we’d booked a longer stay. We’ll definitely return for an extended visit and highly recommend it.

We chose this villa for our honeymoon, and it was an amazing experience. The rice-field view is beautiful, and breakfast and dinner were brought right to the villa. Edi and the rest of the staff treated us so well throughout and were genuinely welcoming and helpful. If you’re staying in Ubud but want somewhere quiet, I’d recommend it 100%.
