At checkout, they said there had been a violation in the room and charged me a cash fee of 400 thousand. When we checked in, nobody explained the hotel rules, the receptionist didn’t give them to us, and they weren’t posted in the room either. This was a new experience for me, and I regret it. I won’t come back.

Maybe I’m used to hotels in Surabaya or Jakarta, but I was confused when they asked for a deposit after I’d already paid in full. The AC was really hot when we first got into the room, like it hadn’t been checked beforehand. I called the front desk to have it fixed, and it took an hour before the room cooled down.

The AC didn’t feel cool in the morning, afternoon, or evening. It was so hot that I eventually opened the door. There were lots of small animals too. The rest was okay.
