The entrance and front area looked clean and well kept, but the room was dirty and expensive. There was a live cockroach in the toilet, and I couldn't get the water temperature adjusted properly. The bed looked as if someone had urinated on it, and there wasn't much of a view.

The room was clean and fairly comfortable, and there's a swimming pool on the first floor. The location is handy, right in central Takengon beside KFC and a mini mart. I wasn't happy with the food, though. I expected full cream milk, but the milk tasted quite strange.

The online rate is good, but if you can find a better option, take it. This is an old hotel and it feels old. Breakfast is very basic, and even the coffee isn't good despite all the coffee plantations and roasteries around.

I liked the room, and it was clean with nice hospitality. Breakfast was a little below average: the food was cold, which is a big no-no in a cold place like Takengon, and the choco rice and milk were off. I'd happily stay here again, just without breakfast.

I recommend staying at one of Takengon's four-star hotels. This one has facilities like a swimming pool, restaurant, rooftop cafe and resto, and a KTV corner. It's a special hangout spot with city and hill views.
