Hotel Agria Bogor - Tajur

There was dust and dirt everywhere, and the place was absolutely filthy, inside the room and throughout the property. The sheets were stained, and the bathroom looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. The air conditioners were old, noisy, and poorly maintained. Sleeping on the street might be more hygienic.

The room didn’t meet expectations, which was a bit of a surprise. There was trash and even nail clippings left behind, and the towels and sheets weren’t clean. I hope management can improve things for next time and maintain the quality.

The room we eventually got was dirty and dusty, with stains on the walls, ceiling, and blanket. After housekeeping came in while we were out, I also noticed my towel was missing. This was a deeply unsatisfactory stay, from the poor room condition to the disorganization, and it wasn’t worth the cost. My friends and I had booked ten days ahead, but when we arrived, we were told the hotel was full and offered only a refund. It took a lot of frustration before we were finally given a room.

The cleanliness was poor in both rooms we booked. We found ants, hair, and dust all over the rooms and beds, which is hard to accept when I’ve stayed in cheaper hotels in better condition. The hot shower was unreliable too. There are some good things here: the Wi-Fi was strong and steady, the pool was a decent size, and plenty of good restaurants, cafes, and minimarkets are nearby. Even though it’s right by a busy street, there was almost no noise. We were on the second floor and had a lovely view of the greenery. With a spot on Jalan Raya Tajur, this hotel has a lot of wasted potential.
