The room photos are out of date, and the rooms look run down, with no sign of recent renovations. The sheets were dirty too, and I found bugs and droppings in the bed. On arrival, I was shown a different room from the one I booked through Booking.com. I think the mix-up may have been Booking.com's error, but the owner suggested I cancel even though I was already there, then asked for an extra 150k to upgrade. There seems to have been an admin mistake somewhere, so book with caution. One bright spot was the gentleman at reception, who was very kind, and the little garden out back was cute. Many of the positive reviews are from a couple of years ago.

Jeng Tini quest house team, especially Jeng Tini, made our first stay a great one. Everything looked beautiful and cozy, the rooms were spotless, and there was plenty of space to work. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We could refill water and use the shared cooking area, tea, and coffee for free. Keeping things clean matters most. diDi had a blast. Thanks a bunch, xx

It feels like staying at granny's home, with a big, clean room for a reasonable price. Out back there's a small fish pond and the sound of water from a little fountain. The place is on a busy one-way street, but that trickle still brings a bit of peace.

When I stayed in May 2023, the room was clean and the staff were helpful and friendly. There's a shared area with free coffee, tea, and mineral water. Jeng Tini is great for the price.

Jus gave us a really warm welcome on our first stop in Indonesia and helped us figure out what to do next. We had a great time, with a lovely room and a great breakfast. It's also close to the Botanic Gardens. A great place and a great start to the trip!
