In 2018, I gave Hotel Wisma Djaja Syariah four stars. Booking directly was a cheaper way to stay there, and the room was clean and spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful. Things were very different when I returned in 2019. I tried both a deluxe room and a family room, and at this price I found the hotel overpriced. You could choose another budget-friendly commercial hotel. The family rooms vary quite a bit. Room 01b had a larger bed and working TV channels, while the cable TV in 01A didn't work. They just said “sorry” and left my room. The first-floor family room has a king and a single bed, but the one upstairs has two singles, which was really disappointing. The AC also seems too small for the family room, and it still felt humid even set to 16°C. There are differences between the deluxe rooms too. Room 15b felt more exclusive and upgraded than room 16b. The toiletries were still cheap, old-fashioned bar soap and toothbrushes. For this price, they could upgrade to an all-in-one liquid shower and shampoo. I'm disappointed and don't recommend the hotel anymore. You can get more facilities and a better experience at fave hotel or another budget-friendly hotel for the same price or less. 😔👎

The new building on the north side has the usual modern minimalist look of a budget hotel. For IDR 275.000, I got an executive room that was clean and comfortable, with AC and hot water. Unfortunately, there was no towel.

I paid 225 k for a large, comfy and tidy room with good facilities, including hot water for coffee or tea, a hot shower, AC, and breakfast. There's a restaurant too, and the staff are helpful and friendly. I've stayed here twice, and I'll come back when I visit Bojonegoro :D

The location makes getting around easy: alun-alun Bojonegoro is a five-minute walk, and the train station is 20 minutes away by rickshaw. It's right in the center of town, and the hotel was established on 1966, making it one of the oldest in Bojonegoro, East Java. A cozy, comfortable place to stay with your family.
