For a budget stay while exploring Candi Borobudur, especially if you’re planning a sunrise visit and only need one night, this is a good option. The room is quite cheap and worth the price, while the location and service are amazing.

The hotel is good value for money and very close to Candi Borobudur. The owner is kind and helpful, and the rooms are large, clean, and tidy.

The hosts are helpful without intruding, and they speak English. Breakfast was tasty, with coffee, tea, and hot water also provided. There’s a shady courtyard where you can relax or eat. My small room was beautiful and comfortable, with a lovely bathroom and air conditioning. Everything was clean and tidy. We highly recommend Genthong. T&L New Zealand

I felt completely comfortable staying at Tomo and his family’s homestay. They made it cozy by providing tea and water, and the best part was spending time with them and their adorable kids. They’re the sweetest, excellent hosts. I’m so grateful for their warmth and dedication, and I hope I can come back soon!

The room was spacious, and the air con got nice and cold. The host and his wife were lovely, helpful, kind, and friendly. They served a simple but delicious breakfast of Nasi Goreng (fried rice). For the price, this place is an absolute gem. Everything was perfect and more than met expectations. Nothing to change.
