Close to Borobudur temple, with clean rooms and lots of parking space. The bed was noisy, though.

The room was big, with plenty of space, and it had hot water 24 hours a day. But the car parking was quite limited, and the door wouldn't close properly. The AC barely worked, so they gave us a fan. It wasn't clean or hygienic, with house gecko litter in the corners of the walls. The room was poorly lit despite its size, with a low-watt LED bulb. Lower-floor rooms are more likely to get dusty in the dry season because the parking area is still gravel. And there were MOSQUITOES.

This was a very unclean place to stay, with mould and mildew on the walls. The shower was broken, and the rotten shower door was coming off its hinges. There were bed bugs everywhere, and I got eaten alive overnight. Outside the room, mosquitoes will eat you down to the bone. The TV only had two channels, and there was no restaurant or food at all. We paid for breakfast but didn't get any. There was nobody at reception, just a mobile number taped to the door to call someone over. We will never return. Sorry, but this isn't an Agoda standard hotel and should be removed from listings.

Don't book here. I paid directly to the property for one night after arriving late in magelang and choosing a cheap place before moving to the omah borobudur the next day. I also booked through agoda, but the property marked me as a NO SHOW and confirmed it as a “cancellation booking”. Agoda charged my Credit Card too, so I was charged twice. They didn't give me a payment receipt, and nobody came to meet me when I arrived. I had to wait a couple minutes and yell before someone showed up. Now agoda is asking me for proof of payment, and you can guess what happened next. So tricky!!
