The restaurant is right next to a place that smells like a trash dump, and the shower doesn't drain and is rather moldy. Guests were noisy and talked loudly until 1 AM. We were also asked to pay 25% of the total price to check in 60 minutes early.

The owner is part of a local family, and they were very kind and helpful. The hotel was great, and I was lucky to stay during the Vesakh Festival in Borobudur. The bed was comfortable, and there was hot water, TV, AC, very good Wi-Fi, and a free beverage. It's about 1 km from Borobudur Temple, roughly a 20-minute walk, or you can take a local bike taxi for Rp 10.000- Rp 20.000 (+/- 1 USD). There's a restaurant out front, but it only takes cash. The hotel accepted cards, though it seemed only one person knew how to use the card machine :'D. The nearest ATM is about 1 km away, so make sure you have cash ready. I'd rate it 5/5.

A cozy place just a few minutes' walk from the cultural center. You don't need a fancy breakfast here. Check out the nearby restaurants and you'll find plenty of dishes to enjoy.

The wooden sculptures around the place are lovely, and the staff were great. My room had air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and a comfortable bed. The bathroom was clean, with very hot water, and set back from the road.
