A lovely place for a simple break, with fresh air, beautiful scenery, and hot water that worked well. The breakfast was basic but tasty. There were just way too many ants in the room! 😅

I really liked the atmosphere here. It’s an inexpensive but nice place to stay, with polite, helpful staff, cable TV, air conditioning, hot and cold water in the shower, and toiletries. Balkondes means Balai Ekonomi Desa, and this business is run by villagers from Ngargogondo under the supervision of Pegadaian, an Indonesian state-owned enterprise.

I went for Moro borobudur festival and loved the atmosphere, but we didn’t stay overnight.
