Wahid Borobudur

A comfortable, accessible budget option in the Borobudur area. The atmosphere is quiet and calm. Breakfast has limited choices, but what they serve is pretty tasty.

Mrs. Indy at reception was a big help when I needed to book a train ticket locally using the terminal at the Indomart supermarket around the corner. Ask her about sightseeing, batik, and souvenir shops if you're looking for the best prices. The room and washroom were both clean. It's a peaceful little boutique hotel with a village feel, just a short walk from a main street full of places to eat and shop. I'll stay here again next time I'm in Borobodur.

The pool was great, the food was delicious, and the staff were kind. It's quiet and cozy, very close to Borobudur temple, and there's a nearby street with food available into the night. I stayed one night. Four stars because the bathroom was a bit dirty and had no shower curtain, so water got everywhere.

Borobudur is only a few minutes away on foot, and the staff were friendly. The small wading pool is good for kids and looks fantastic at night. The room was simple, with nothing luxurious about it. Since the compound is small, sounds from the pool and restaurant carry everywhere. I was woken early by several cockerels and the mosque loudspeakers.
