The ants were the main drawback for me. There were quite a few in the room and around the grounds, and that could be handled better. The hotel itself is gorgeous, though, from the rooms and pool to the views, all lovely for photos. It’s also very remote. There’s almost nowhere to eat nearby, and the nearest restaurants are about an hour away, so plan on dining at the hotel or bringing snacks. Breakfast there was really good, and I’d recommend including it. The staff were friendly and helpful. They might leave the office early in the evening, but you can reach them on WhatsApp and they respond when you need something. It’s a peaceful place to unwind by the pool for a night or two, as long as you’re ready for the location.

A quiet little haven close to busy Ubud. I’d highly recommend Awan Putih Resort if you want to get away from the crowds. The restaurant is a lovely way to enjoy Balinese culture, too. The garden feels like a botanical masterpiece, with flowers, orchids I’d never seen before, hives for particular Balinese bees, art pieces, and antique Indonesian sculptures. Inside, the rooms are serene, with quality furniture, evocative paintings, and the soft sounds of nature all around. Every detail makes this place wonderful.

Agung looked beautiful in the morning, and we had so much privacy here. My girlfriend and I came hoping for a quiet break and found a hidden paradise. Highly recommend it if you want a peaceful escape from ubud.

I wish we’d booked more nights at Awan Putih Resort. It was one of the most peaceful, lush places I’ve stayed, and worked perfectly as a base for exploring before coming back to relax. They have different transport options, so getting to Kintamani or Mount Batur was easy and stress free. Wayan, thanks for the warm welcome and immaculate service.

There’s plenty to enjoy besides the pool and views: the Resort has mini golf and other games, and our room was perfectly equipped. The staff were so sweet, and the food was delicious. I had an incredible, really relaxing stay, and it’s one of the most beautiful Resorts I’ve visited. I strongly recommend it.
