The rice field and forest views were lovely, and the superior room was modern, clean, and had a really comfortable bed. Staff were super friendly. It’s about 30 minutes from Ubud center, but still works if you’re exploring the north of Ubud.

The room was spacious and felt like good value for the price, and we had a nice breakfast by the pool in the morning. Our one-night stay at Babakan Hidden Paradise was pleasant overall. The location among rice fields is lovely, with greenery all around in the mornings, and the staff were friendly and helpful. There was a bad smell in the lobby and in my third-floor room’s bathroom. There wasn’t an electronic air freshener in the room. Still, the place had a homey feel.

We stayed in both the deluxe and wooden rooms, and the rooms were tidy, clean, and had premium facilities. The service was excellent, with staff who were friendly and very helpful. We enjoyed the rice field view and the tasty breakfast. The villa is about 7 km from the main road, which makes it quiet and peaceful. You can rent a motorbike for a reasonable fee. Staff can also tell you about attractions like alas arum or abiansiLA, where there’s a challenging but fun ATV adventure.

For a relaxed visit about 20 minutes north of ubud, this place worked really well for me and my partner. It was quiet, breakfast was great each morning, and the staff were amazing, always friendly and ready to help. I’d suggest renting a scooter. Websites offer delivery and pickup at the hotel, and it costs very little. We had a great stay, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a restful break.

Desek's cooking is the best in Bali, and the coffee was great too. The staff were cheerful, and the owners, Desek and Nano, were lovely. Everything feels cared for: gorgeous, peaceful grounds, a great pool, and bright, clean, modern rooms that are beautifully equipped. I can’t say enough good things about this place!
