Loved the mountain scenery, and that feeling of being tucked between the peaks. It gets really windy, but the food was great, the toilet was clean, and the bed was comfortable. No complaints so far, cheers.

Ilham, the Hotel Manager, was very kind and a real problem solver. I ran a two-day workshop here on 6-7 May 2017, and the staff worked hard to help me get everything ready. They were friendly, practical, and showed real service excellence. I was extremely happy with the help and had a great experience. Many thanks! I'll upload pictures later.

Along with the gorgeous West Sumatran scenery, there's a chance to learn a little about Indonesian and West Sumatran culture and history at Rumah Budaya Fadhli Zon inside the cottage complex. You can see Mt. Singgalang and Mt. Merapi too. The pamphlet called it a view of paradise, and that's just what it was like.

A lovely spot for a honeymoon 💝💝💖💝💝. It's chilly up at the foot of the mountain, with fresh air since it's far from the highway. There's also a museum about Indonesian heroes and a photo gallery. The downside is there's no hot spring.

The mountain view and cold weather made the stay a great experience. The rooms are nice, and there's a swimming pool. The museum here also has a collection of Minang culture. If you're visiting Bukittinggi, be sure to check in at this cottage.
