Breakfast was plentiful and nice, and the stay was good value for money. The room was spotless and very comfortable, and it stayed quiet apart from the prayers, which are hard to avoid in Bukittinggi anyway. The staff were kind, helpful, and efficient. They marked places on a map for us, helped arrange a scooter, and found us a good guide to see the rafflesia flower. I’d definitely recommend it.
I tried both the private room for 160,000 rupiah ($10) and the capsule for 100,000 rupiah ($6), and breakfast was included with each. The place is clean, the people are wonderful, and it’s only a short walk to the clock tower and shops. There’s also somewhere to store a bicycle. Honestly, it’s the best place in town for a budget traveler or backpacker. Thanks for a wonderful stay. 🙏
The buffet breakfast was really good and included in the room price. I had a private room with a hot shower, and everything there was perfect. The owner was so helpful, giving me a great walking route and recommending an excellent guide for a day tour that I really enjoyed. Easily the best place to stay in Bukittinggi.
The room and bathroom were clean, and the simple breakfast was delicious. It’s in an excellent location, too. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my great stay. Highly recommend it!
Mrs. Ling gave me the best advice for trips in Bukitingi and the surrounding area. She speaks perfect English and is friendly, but what stood out most was how honestly and generously she helped me make better choices without expecting anything back. The hotel is perfectly clean, the breakfast is good and plentiful, and the value for money is excellent. You can go there with your eyes closed.
