The beds were good, and the room was nice and large. The balcony door wouldn’t open, and I’d like to see more power outlets and some other improvements. Breakfast had very few choices and wasn’t suited to Western tastes.

The room was clean, neat, and comfortable, with the basics covered. The staff were welcoming and had a good attitude. It’s handy for a mosque, a hospital if needed, and a range of food shops. The nearby coffee shop is cool, too. I walked to Pasar Lereng, Jam Gadang, and Pasar Ateh in about 20 minutes. Getting to the food expo and other nearby places takes around 10-25 minutes, depending on where you’re headed. Especially recommended for Muslim guests.

It’s about a five-minute walk to the Clock Tower, with lots of street food nearby. The room was clean, pleasant, and comfortable, and had air conditioning, though you don’t really need it in this town. There’s no wifi or kettle, but you can ask the hotel for hot water. Accommodation in Bukittinggi is quite expensive, this hotel included, but the place is good enough for a rest. Breakfast is great if you like Padang-style food, such as fried rice or noodles and local dessert.

Breakfast is included, and the location isn’t far from Jam Gadang. The room was okay, with air conditioning, a water heater, a TV, and two bottles of water. The hotel’s hot and cold water labels are switched around.
