Food prices in kollam are high, and this place is pricey. Compared with other hotels in kollam it's better, but it still isn't that good.

The location is handy, but the room and service let it down. I came after a neighbor recommended Salma Hotel, and as a tourism student I expected better. The room smelled damp and felt uncomfortable, and the plywood floor on the second level made me worry it might give way as I walked. The receptionist wasn't very welcoming either. Honestly, I'm not sure this should be called a hotel 😅

There are plenty of places to eat along the street at night, and the location is convenient. For the price, I felt it was good value. The receptionist was friendly and the service was excellent. My room was clean, though the fluffy carpet made it feel a bit damp, and I could hear noise through the walls. The water heater was inconsistent and never got very hot.

Without air conditioning, it wasn't very comfortable. Otherwise, it looked pretty ordinary.
