Novus Jiva Villa Resort and Spa Anyer

Serai Restaurant had a cozy, beautiful atmosphere and an amazing view. The food was fresh, delicious, and served just right. Dini, Diva, and Serli were so friendly and attentive, always ready to help with warm smiles. Their hospitality made us feel welcome and comfortable throughout the visit, and they went above and beyond. Highly recommended if you’re visiting Anyer or staying at Novus Jiva. I’m looking forward to coming back! ❤️

The staff were helpful from the moment we arrived and throughout our stay, and the restaurant prepared delicious food. We had lunch there before leaving. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a clean bathroom, complete amenities, and a coffee machine with capsules. The pool and kids’ play area were very nice, as were the spa, gym, and shops. The hotel is in the Anyer area, and the beach is across from it. A shuttle runs back and forth between the hotel, beach, and car park, so we didn’t have to wait long. We had a very nice vacation stay and were pleased with the food and service.

The kids had enough to keep active in the modest playground, and the staff were very helpful. The pool has a section for children and the water is always warm. Even at peak check-in time, staff managed things well. The parking is far from the lobby, so drop your belongings at the lobby first and take the shuttle. Bags are tagged and kept secure. There’s a deposit of around 300,000 during the stay, returned at checkout. The shuttle to the parking lot runs 24 hours, while the beach shuttle only runs from 6:00 to 18:00.

The room was spacious, with a huge window and amazing scenery, and the Wi-Fi was very fast. The pool was clean and towels were provided. There was also a coffee maker in the room, a free welcome drink, and good indoor and outdoor playgrounds for children. We stayed in a mountain view room, and overall had a good experience, about 4.5/5. The deposit was around Rp.300k. The hotel is in a strategic spot away from crowds, up on a hill and safe from tsunami, with its own beach downhill. There were a number of drawbacks. Parking is far down by the security gate, so we had to use the shuttle each time. The beach didn’t look well maintained: wave trash hadn’t been cleared, some parts were muddy, the cleaning area was limited, and it wasn’t open at night. Getting there also requires a shuttle, and the seat was wet and dripping after the previous passenger. The shuttle is a modified mini truck made to look like a caddy car, and getting in takes a high step. The toilet door and window had no locks, the bag trolleys were limited, and breakfast had few choices, with only one rice option and no sambal that we could see. One lift had no button for level five, which was confusing at first. Our AC leaked water, and the sharp glass bathroom door injured my foot. There was only one electric socket in the room, and the toilet mirror was slanted and couldn’t be adjusted.
