Eka Purnama Cottages

The view over the ocean, mountains, and jungle is amazing, and the location is right across the road from one of Amed's best snorkeling spots. This resort feels like a beautiful, simple jewel. With bamboo cottages, an infinity pool, and wonderfully hospitable staff, it reminded us of the original Bali. Our family had an incredible stay, and the spring rolls are a must. We'll be back and keep recommending it.

The Japanese shipwreck is close by, and getting to everything I needed was easy. My room was comfortable and clean, and the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. I had a really relaxing few days here and would recommend it to anyone visiting Bali.

We stopped in for dinner because the place is right across from the Japanese shipwreck snorkelling and dive site. The sea view was lovely, and both the fresh grilled tuna and the tuna steamed in banana leaf were among the best meals we had in Bali. The owner and her daughter made us feel very welcome and did everything they could to make sure we were happy. We'd gladly return if we're in Bali again, and recommend eating here if you're nearby.

The pool was great, the room was a good size, and the Japanese shipwreck is really close. There was a little dust in the room, though. I’d eat elsewhere. The restaurant has a huge menu but seemed badly understaffed, and the food was below average for the fairly high prices. Tax and service were extra too. You can get better value somewhere else.
