Villa Bukit Segara

The staff were some of the best we’ve ever had, and the restaurant food was delicious. We had a great time here and would gladly return. Our room was spacious, the bed was really comfortable, and the pool was fantastic. We also loved being able to snorkel right out from the property.

We planned on two nights and ended up staying four because we liked it so much. It’s calm and soothing here, with a really nice vibe, and the staff are attentive and so friendly they feel like one big family. There’s a beautiful, healthy-looking coral reef right in front of the hotel, just down the steps and into the water for a snorkel. The pool, showers and taps all use drinking water. We’d happily come back.

The hotel water comes from its own private well, which is certified and routinely tested, a real plus when travelling in Indonesia. We also loved the onsite restaurant, especially the best spring rolls in Bali, and tried local Warung's along the main road. For a strenuous outing, hike up the local canyon to the sacred water sites. The views are incredible and it’s a good workout. Lipah Beach is a walk away, where you can have a large Bintang and spend time with the locals. Lovely people and a great location. We stayed three nights at Villa Bukit Segara in Amed Bali and really enjoyed it. The hotel sits on a large private coastal property, with excellent snorkelling just steps from the infinity pool. The rooms are spacious and well maintained, and the staff are attentive and very helpful.

The people who work at Villa Bukit Segara made this one of our favorite places we’ve visited. Every staff member was kind, generous and thoughtful. We’re grateful to have met you all, and hope we can come back soon. The property is beautiful and so well maintained, with delicious food and incredible service. We especially loved the snorkelling right in front of the villa, our favorite of all the spots we visited. We also enjoyed the sailing excursions to a beautiful temple. Thanks to everyone!
