Wayan and the team made our five nights really special. They were wonderful with our one-year-old and four-year-old, and the in-villa breakfasts and dinners were just right. The four bedrooms each have their own bathroom and a big wardrobe, and the indoor-outdoor living areas give everyone plenty of room. We loved the huge pool, deep enough for diving, and the ocean views from the second floor, with waves audible nearby. The food was delicious and felt lovingly prepared. We spent 10 nights at Villa Gils, arriving on New Year's Eve. Candidasa is a beautiful, quiet and friendly town in Bali. Wayan and her team were warm and attentive from the moment we arrived. We loved our stay and hope to come back soon. Thanks to the team for making it so special.

There’s a little supermarket and a few restaurants within walking distance, though we also had some lovely dinners at the villa. We stayed six nights at Villa Gils with our two families and young children, and had such a good time. The pool and villa are amazing, with an ocean view from the upper level. Wayan and the staff were caring and attentive throughout. It felt like our own little oasis, and we’re sad to leave.

The layout is lovely, the pool is huge, and you get a sea view from the upper rooms. The staff were incredibly friendly and professional, and made us feel at home. A really exceptional stay. Recommended!
