Marina Residence by OYO Rooms

The place was awful, and I’d give it half a star if I could. The app price didn’t match what they asked me to pay: I was charged 30k extra to bring it to 100k, then offered a 20k add-on when I tried to cancel because they said weekends cost more. That makes no sense. They told me there were no rooms left that day, though it was quiet and it seemed like someone had booked it themselves. Really bad, wouldn’t recommend it.

The bathroom is outside, like at a daily boarding house, which is a shame. It was pouring when we got there and the floodwater came up to an adult’s thighs. Getting food was difficult, and the room lighting was dim. Sorry for the low rating.

It’s a handy choice if you’re coming from or heading to the airport, only about a two-minute drive away. The price is affordable and reasonable, the place is clean, the AC is cool, and the amenities are complete. The bathroom is outside, and towels can be rented.

I left and found another place within 30 minutes. I’d paid 95,000 Rupiah through Traveloka, then was asked for another 25,000 at check-in. The bathroom was outside, with towels and toiletries only available to rent. The receptionist kept banging on me for this and that while I was trying to rest, even after I contacted Traveloka and was told to cancel. The TV was on the cupboard, and it was hard to find food. It didn’t look like the picture. Please make it clear that the bathroom is outside and toiletries aren’t provided.
