Temple Cafe & Seaside Cottages

I ate at the restaurant every day, sitting by the ocean. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. I stayed at the Temple Café for six nights and had a great time. The staff were friendly and helpful, and my room was cleaned daily. Although it was listed as a garden view, I could see the ocean from my veranda.

We didn't stay in the rooms, though they looked clean and well maintained. We came for lunch, and this roadside cafe turned out to be a high-quality, professionally run restaurant. You order and pay at a little window, but the food and service were first class. We ate in the cute oceanside dining area behind the main cafe, right by the shore, with gentle sea breezes and a soothing Bali garden feel. I had some of the best fish and chips I've enjoyed in Bali, made with lightly breaded Mahi Mahi. My Wife had smoked and grilled Mahi Mahi steak with sambal, vegetables, and potato wedges, all truly exceptional. For dessert, we shared banana fritters, warm brownies, ice cream, and excellent Bali coffee. The food and friendly, professional service stayed excellent throughout, and the prices were very good value. A hidden gem on the main drag of Candidasa, well worth a visit. Highly recommended!

The sound of waves crashing against the seawall might lull you to sleep. These rustic seaside cabins have reliable hot and cold water, wifi, and very good air conditioning. There's a cafe on site with good food at good prices.

We spent one night here and were grateful for the great hospitality. The room was very clean and well organized, and the comfortable beds made it easy to sleep to the sound of the ocean. The internet was very good for working, and cafes, restaurants, pubs, and groceries are all within walking distance. The photos were taken directly from our room. Thank you!
