A7 Guesthouse

Our room beneath reception was a horrible experience. Everything was soaking wet and smelled awful. They knew about the problem, but only let us move after we'd spent one night there.

My boyfriend and I agreed this was our favourite place to stay after three months travelling around Southeast Asia. The rooms were clean and comfy, with great AC, and the Wi-Fi worked really well everywhere on the property. The western showers worked great and came with lovely shampoo and body wash. They also had free hot and cold water for tea and coffee, and the staff were lovely and helpful. It's a six-minute walk to the beach, with restaurants, shops, and spas all around. The pool had a little more chlorine than I like, though it wasn't overpowering like a public pool, and at least it felt clean. The communal kitchen didn't have every utensil, as other reviews mention, but we made seven meals there without a problem.

The room was good, and the women working there were nice. I did find mold on the pillow and the cover wasn't clean, maybe because of the price.

At A7 guesthouse, the location was brilliant, close to the beach with plenty of places to eat and shops all around. The beds were really comfy, the facilities looked pretty clean, and the staff were super polite and friendly. We had a wonderful stay.
