Mojosurf Camp Canggu - Hostel

The sunsets in different spots were my highlight in Kuta Lombok, and the people at Mojo felt more like friends than instructors. Luke took photos from the boat, while a local instructor from the surf school Mojo works with surfed with me. Luke also put a lot of effort into explaining things and teaching after the lessons. The staff are basically friends, and the surfing is really well organized. My one small gripe is that everyone goes to the same spot, along with lots of students from other surf schools. There’s plenty else to do, too.

We tried three Mojo camps around Indonesia, and each one was beautiful and had its own feel. We especially loved the vibe at Mojo camp in canggu. Cafes, restaurants, night clubs, the beach and shops are all really close. The team, from the kitchen and reception to the surf instructors and guides, were friendly, helpful, and funny, and we had a great time at the weekly events. The food was good, the pool was clean, and our rooms were cleaned every day. Surfing was fun, and I noticed renovations underway, which should make the place more modern.

I had a good three-night stay. The beach is very close, and the surfing was great. Staff were helpful, the rooms were cleaned daily, and breakfast was included and delicious.

The location made it easy to walk to the beach and plenty of restaurants, shops, and cafes. I also really enjoyed hanging out by the pool and in the common area, where it was fun to meet other people. The rooms were clean, the air conditioning worked great, and the surf sessions were so much fun with great instructors. The staff are really friendly. I had the best time at Mojo in Canggu!
