I’m asking for a written explanation and a prompt investigation into my belongings, which the hotel agreed to store after checkout while I was away for three weeks. When I returned, I was told nobody knew where they were. Among the items was a painting from a very important day for me. I’d used two professional canvases and supplies, each costing 1,000,000 rupees, and the finished piece has both personal and professional value. Since I had no car and couldn’t carry everything myself, I photographed what I left and asked a hotel staff member to keep it until I came back. They confirmed they could store it. How could property accepted for storage go missing? Why wasn’t I contacted with any questions, and on what basis could my things have been discarded or lost? The hotel is responsible for guests’ property kept there, and this has caused emotional distress as well as material damage. Please investigate internally, respond in writing as soon as possible, and explain how you intend to compensate me. I await your reply.

The townhouse was really cozy, and the location made getting around easy since everything is close by and central. What stood out most was the kind, wonderful service. Five stars hardly feels like enough.

We had a really good family vacation here. The villa was quiet, and the whole team at Alex Villa was friendly and helpful. Parking for a car or motorbike was easy, too. Canggu’s restaurants, artshop, mini market, cafe bakery are nearby, and the beach is just a 600-meter walk. Great vibes for me and my family. I hope we can come back next time we vacation in Canggu. The villas still look beautiful and are well maintained structurally, but this third stay didn’t match the service we’ve had before. We had to keep reminding staff to clean, and the cleanliness overall left a lot to be desired. A persistent drain smell in our villa also took away from the relaxing stay we expected. The staff were very friendly, and I believe they meant well. Still, the attention to detail and service level have noticeably slipped. We’ve always loved staying here and hope this is a temporary dip. Please get back to the high standard you’re known for. This time, you let yourselves down.
