COMO Uma Canggu

The children spent hours going between the pool and the swing while we enjoyed the slower pace, and sunset by the beach became something we looked forward to every evening. We stayed two nights as a family and left with some special memories, even though we had arrived tired. Breakfast at COMO Beach Club was excellent, and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful. The property was well maintained throughout. Plenty of luxury resorts have lovely rooms and pools, but COMO Uma Canggu made everything feel effortless. The beachfront setting is fantastic and relaxed rather than flashy. It's a wonderful choice if you're looking for comfort, wellness, family time, and a great Canggu location.

We'd definitely come back to Como Uma Canggu in Bali. This was our second time staying in Como, after Como, Malifushi in the Maldives, and the hotel has that lovely mix of luxury, good food, great service, and well-trained staff. Everyone was so accommodating. The design and decor are beautiful, with a cozy Boho luxury feel. Special thanks to Lauren, Pramana, Novi, Arie, Kusuma and Yudha, who all took exceptional care of us. I heard there's a Como in Ubud too!

Before booking, I'd read that the Hotel wing was underwhelming, so I chose a one-bedroom apartment in the Residences wing. The property was well maintained, though much smaller than I'd imagined. If you want a sprawling resort with lots of pools and facilities, this may not suit you. My two teenagers and I all thought the massage at the spa was remarkable. We also tried Tonic and Ameline spa, but even at half the price of Como, they weren't worth it by comparison. The therapist at Como was second to none. A 75-minute treatment cost 1mn IDR, less than a Natureland massage in Singapore, and I wouldn't hesitate to pay it again. Breakfast at the beach club was delicious and the service impeccable. My daughter came down with horrific Bali Belly and threw up at breakfast. I suspect the watermelon juice from the breakfast counter the day before may have been the culprit. The staff offered to send the in-house medical team to our room. The doctor and nurse arrived with an IV drip within ten minutes, then packed breakfast for later in case she got hungry after missing her meal. Our flight on the last day wasn't until 5:30 p.m. The hotel needed to prepare our room for the next guest, so they couldn't grant my late check-out request, but kindly gave us a complimentary courtesy room from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. I'd recommend this resort for a quiet break with great breakfast and service.

We always come back here when we're in Bali because it feels like home. The atmosphere is lovely, the location is great, the service is good, and breakfast has a nice menu. I especially love the salad bar, and the gym is very spacious. Some rooms had a faint smell, but staff helped move us to a room in a new building that we preferred, so it wasn't a problem. Those newer rooms don't have a beach or pool view, which we didn't mind. It's easy to get around Canggu from here.
