Happy Devi Guesthouse

I’ve stayed here several times, and it’s still my favourite place in Canggu. The upstairs sun terrace is a nice spot, and there’s a fridge and other things guests can use. The staff are so friendly that it feels like coming home. My room was comfortable and cleaned every day, with better care than some pricier places I’ve tried. I’m looking forward to my next visit.

This is a peaceful guesthouse where I could sleep well and feel ready for the next day. The owner treats guests really well and is helpful, including with services like airport pickup and scooter rentals at a lower price than elsewhere. Rooms are cleaned daily, and there’s a nice kitchen. It’s not a five-star hotel, but in my opinion it’s the best place to stay in Canggu, and I can definitely recommend it.

I only planned to spend three nights at Happy Devi because a friend mentioned renovations, but I stayed longer. The work was done during proper working hours and never interfered with my rest. Bli Nyoman and the staff were helpful, cleaned the guesthouse every day, and made sure I had what I needed. The location on Jalan Batu Bolong made it easy to get around, with shops, food, and massage places nearby. I’ll come back if I visit Canggu again. Terima kasih bantak Bli Nyoman dan staff :)

The rooms on the second floor get a lovely natural breeze, and the shower had strong pressure and hot water. The AC worked properly, too. There’s a small, cozy kitchen with a much-needed blender. Management kept the place clean each day and responded to guest requests quickly, which I really appreciated. You do hear motorbikes a lot, but that’s Canggu. Staying at an affordable place like Happy Devi made being in Bali during the Covid pandemic much easier. Namaste! JessikaYoga
