There’s potential here, and the garden and pool are kept in nice condition, but the place feels totally neglected. My room was in awful shape, with dirty sheets and curtains, plus a cockroach and a mouse. I was in room no 1 by a busy street, so it was noisy all day. The kitchen was miserable, though at least I could use the fridge.

I wouldn’t recommend staying here. The kitchen was disgusting and there was no real service. My room wasn’t cleaned, and they left the same old sheets from the previous guest instead of giving me fresh ones. When I asked for cleaning, they looked annoyed and clearly didn’t want to do it. It felt like I was just crashing somewhere, not renting a place. This isn’t a hotel, but guests should still get some hospitality and consideration. Pick a different, much better bungalow.

The WiFi was awful, and I wouldn’t recommend this place at all. The walk to the rooms is very narrow, and it gets really dark inside in the evening. The switches and sockets are black, so try finding them at night. Everything seemed covered in dust, and the curtains were so dirty I couldn’t even touch them. There was no second bedside table, so I had to put my devices on the floor. The bathroom was a whole other problem. Nothing seemed cleaned: the mixer taps and shower were old, stained, dirty, and didn’t work properly. The sink was grey with marks from previous people, the old mirror hadn’t been cleaned, and the toilet bowl was grey, smelled bad, and had limescale. The tiles were filthy too, and sometimes there was barely any water pressure. Then I got a WhatsApp message asking, “It’s 12 o’clock, you must check out or extend.” Zero stars.

After a long flight we stayed for just one night. The man at reception was welcoming and showed us to our rooms. The room was a decent size, but could use a deep clean and better lighting. For the price it’s still a good deal, and improving the guest experience shouldn’t be difficult. There’s also a great restaurant up the road, in an organic garden, serving delicious food from breakfast through dinner. Turn left as you leave the property and it’s on the bend to your right.
