I feel bad giving two stars, but I’m writing this at 1:17am because I really can’t sleep. The room was upstairs from the “restaurant,” and getting up the stairs was a struggle even with my soft travel bag. I was told there was no parking, though the owner eventually let me park out front, which I appreciated. The place is cheap, the shower water is hot, the downstairs staff are very nice, and the location is convenient. But the room looked much smaller and older than the photos. Water leaked under the kitchen sink when I ran the tap, the shower was basically a pipe of water, and the AC was loud without cooling the warm room. There was a cockroach, and most of the main door is glass, so corridor light comes in at night. It’s also super noisy, with dogs barking every 30 seconds and cars passing by. This is my third night, and I’m checking out tomorrow, four days early. I’d still say it might suit someone on a budget with a small hand bag who can sleep through anything.

The place looks nice in pictures, but felt underwhelming in person. The owner was kind of rude and called foreigners rich. The shower pressure was so poor that I ended up showering outside with a hose, and the staircase to the rooms is really narrow.

Good spot near the beach, and the room was clean. I’d definitely recommend it.

Wayan and the staff are wonderful, and the room was clean with a big bathroom and a great wide view. I really liked this place and will come back!
