Sunari is one of the warmest places I've stayed in during my travels. I've visited Bali twice and spent over a month there, and the rooms here are bright, spacious, and lovely. Scooter hire is cheap, too. Wayan was an amazing host. He helped treat my foot injury, and it got better quickly. When we were in a last-minute rush to catch our flight to New Zealand, he drove us to the airport and did everything he could to help us make it. Without him, we probably would have missed it. If you'd like to do him a favour, visit his website and book there :)

The guesthouse is in a quiet spot, while the beach is still within reasonable distance. I stayed for a whole month and would happily come back. The rooms seem practically new, and the bed was large and comfortable. Wayan, the owner, was always happy to chat and even shared fruit from his own garden with us.

Prices are really good, and I especially liked the peaceful feel of the place, which is nice to find in Canggu. The garden and rooms are lovely too. Wayan and the team are so welcoming and kind, making it a magical place for a longer stay.

I left as quickly as I could. The man at reception was rude and arrogant when I tried to negotiate the price, telling me my salary was much higher. He also mocked me after I thanked him in Balinese. It felt sexist, racist, or both. He showed no manners toward a potential customer. I wouldn't recommend this place.

The shower was broken, there was no blanket, and the staff were racist. They tried to charge me 100k because I'm local. Worst hotel ever!
