Regali Villa

We had a good stay in the spacious, comfortable three-bedroom villa at Regali Villa Canggu, with ensuites. The friendly, helpful staff made the visit even better. Breakfast was included, though the portions could be larger, and honestly, the bathrooms could use some improvement. Still, it was a pleasant stay.

We left as soon as we arrived and didn't spend even one night there. The hotel looked nothing like its online photos and was extremely dirty and poorly maintained. Cats and raccoons were around the property, and food and fruit had been thrown into our pool, making it unhygienic and attracting more animals. We didn't feel comfortable or safe staying there. We explained why we had left straight away, but neither the hotel nor Wotif would refund us. There was no accountability for the condition or the misleading listing, which made an already disappointing experience worse. I wouldn't recommend staying here. We moved to Courtyard by Marriot in Seminyak afterward, and it was a beautiful resort.

The location is great, within walking distance of the beach and close to shops, restaurants, and an ATM. The staff were lovely, approachable, and accommodating. Shout out to Puspa Anggun. That said, it doesn't feel worth 1k+. The place needs more maintenance and oversight. There's no fridge in the room, the bathroom needs attention, and the shower pressure could be better. The pool needs maintenance and has far too much chlorine. The mosquito net is torn, and with no wall blocking the outside, plenty of mosquitoes get in. There is rust and decay on most of the wooden features, the tiles need replacing, and the outdoor lounge chairs are deteriorating. The indoor and outdoor surfaces are very slippery and a major slip hazard. The old-fashioned lights could use a revamp. Shop around.

We felt refreshed and pampered when we left Regali Villas Bali, and we're already planning a return. The staff were warm and genuine, always happy to help with transport, local suggestions, or just a friendly greeting. The villa was spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed, mixing modern comfort with Balinese character. We loved having a clear, inviting private pool for a morning swim or sunset drink, and the lush gardens were well kept and added to the peaceful tropical feel. The location also worked well: quiet enough to relax, but only a short walk or scooter ride from Canggu's beaches, cafes, and shops. It felt luxurious while still being relaxed and personal.
