The Kayuri

The room was great, and the pool was handy for cooling off on hot days. We had a pleasant stay at Kayuri. The staff were helpful, though you have to ask for room cleaning and fresh towels, since they aren’t provided automatically as they were at other guesthouses I’ve stayed in. It’s within walking distance of the beach, with plenty of places to eat and drink nearby. Even in this busy part of Canggu, it was very quiet at night.

We stayed for two weeks and really enjoyed it. The staff were so welcoming, kind, and professional. It’s fairly quiet, in a great location, and good value for money.

We paid about £16 a night for a twin room, and I’d stay again. It came with air conditioning, bottled water, soap and body wash, a towel each, and a simple breakfast for free. The pool was nice, though there wasn’t much room for sunbathing. It was quiet while we were there, and the girls at reception were nice.

The staff were very friendly and did their best to keep the rooms clean. I found the pool and room interior relaxing. The bathroom needs attention, though: it smelled, the facilities were quite old, and the toilet sometimes didn’t work, which was uncomfortable. I hope the owners upgrade the rooms, because this could be a great place.
