The Lebak Canggu

Getting around Canggu was easy from this well-located hotel, and the staff were especially kind, welcoming, and helpful. The shared kitchen, common spaces, and pool were all clean and well cared for. The rooms are comfortable and maintained, though the bathroom needs better ventilation because the air doesn’t circulate properly. The Leba Kangoo was a good place to stay, with that one improvement needed.

The staff were great, and there’s a nice kitchen for cooking your own meals. The rear bungalows are smaller than the juglows, but feel more private since people aren’t constantly passing the sliding glass doors. They’re beautifully built and feel authentic if that’s your style. There may be a cat in your room, too. Scooter rentals are reasonably priced.

For my birthday, the staff put flowers in my room, which was such a lovely surprise. The cleaners were wonderful, helpful, and did a great job. The free wifi was really fast, too. Breakfast is worth including: the food from the Palmer Canggu restaurant across the road was delicious. We had a lovely stay at the Lebak, and I’d highly recommend it.

The common kitchen is spacious, the parking and wifi are free, and the staff are nice. It’s a quiet place with a real Bali feel, and the stay was lovely. There are cute cats around for company, which was cool. I highly recommend it.
