The Simore By Zuzu

This works really well for solo travelers: it's affordable, extremely clean, modern, safe, and has great WiFi for remote work. I've stayed here twice, for two weeks last year and again this year, and I absolutely love it. You can walk to lots of good restaurants and cafés, and it's under a 10-minute Gojek ride to the center. The rooms, bathroom, pool, and common area are all nice. Best team, thanks, guys!

I booked for two weeks, then extended because I liked the place so much. The location is superb: away from Canggu's bad traffic but still close to everything you need. The bed is comfortable, though the pillows were much too soft for me. The A/C gets nice and cold, the smart TV is a plus, and the internet is super fast, great for remote workers. A couple of things could be better. The shower drain is slow, so you end up standing in a pool of water, and I found it odd there wasn't a hot water kettle in the room. I'd stay again, it's such good value for Canggu.

The shared kitchen is fully kitted out and feels luxurious, with guests labeling their own food in the fridge or cupboards. That gives the place a bit of a hostel feel, even though the rooms are luxurious too, with big comfy beds, a smart TV, a large bathroom, and all the amenities you need. The pool area has a great vibe. There's ice-cold filtered water in several spots, and drinks are sold at a reasonable price. Most people were quiet and respectful. One jerk blasted music all day, but they either left or were kicked out. It's a wonderful place, somewhere between a resort hotel and a hostel.

I'm from Hong Kong and stayed at Simore for a week. The location worked perfectly for me, with my fitness centre nearby and the big supermarket, Petite, just a two-minute walk away. Plenty of photo-worthyable restaurants and shops are within a 20-minute Grab ride. Cilly, Adit, Wahyu, Darma, Locong, Dedi and Vova looked after me well.
