We arrived today and I wouldn't recommend staying here. The bathroom was filthy, with dirty floors and someone else's matted hair. I contacted the hotel to ask for a refund, but they said they couldn't process one because we'd booked a non-refundable rate. I would understand that if we were cancelling because our plans had changed, but the cleanliness was below par. I'll be checking out first thing in the morning.

For a budget place in Canggu, this worked fine for a night or a stopover. The host was kind and very friendly, and the clean room had air conditioning that kept it at a comfortable temperature. There was no TV, which was fine for a short stay. The bathroom was clean too, though it only had toilet paper and hand soap, no soap or other amenities. It's down an alley, with parking for motorcycles but no cars. It seems better suited to foreign visitors without a car or those getting around by motorbike. Getting in was a bit nerve-racking because the guard dog kept barking and chasing me when I arrived. Maybe it could be kept on a leash. Thank you.
