Uwu Villas

We loved relaxing by the pool after days out exploring. Uwu villa in Canggu, Bali is a real gem, with beautiful surroundings and luxurious rooms. It’s an easy walk to the beach, and local attractions, cafes, and shops are easy to reach, while the villa itself still feels like a peaceful retreat. The staff were so welcoming and made us feel at home. I’d highly recommend it for a stylish Bali stay.

UWU villas was bliss from our first enquiry to being dropped at the airport. We stayed five days over Christmas, and it was just what our family wanted: a five bedroom villa in Canggu. When we arrived at ‘UWU’, the staff kindly offered refreshments and followed safety protocols due to the pandemic. The rooms were clean and nice, and the staff were very friendly. We especially loved the view over the rice fields from the pool and common area.

The rice field view was breathtaking, and the staff were really friendly. We had a short family holiday in Bali and found UWU villas clean, comfortable, and well equipped. Communication was flawless throughout our stay.

The villa was pretty much as shown, though the online pictures are heavily color-enhanced. It has one bedroom downstairs and two upstairs, with the big upstairs dining room as pictured. There’s an outdoor living room by the pool, and the kitchen is outside next to it. The place was quiet, the bed was okay, the sheets were very clean, cold water was waiting in the fridge, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The room AC worked well, and the service was helpful. Some maintenance is needed. Water drained very slowly from the shower sink, and the standard shower barely worked because its joint was defective. The toilet jet shower also had almost no water. The decoration felt very basic and not homey, more like somewhere to sleep for the owner’s return on investment. It says there’s space for two cars, but unless they’re tiny and you’re skilled at squeezing them together, there isn’t really room for two, and you can’t get out of the cars. One TV didn’t work because it asked for a subscription payment. We didn’t check the others.
