Villa Kakatua was a great fit for our three families, with enough space that we never felt crowded. The rooms and amenities were lovely, and the staff were really helpful. It’s right in the busy part of Canggu, close to bars, restaurants, and the beach, so keep in mind it may not suit you if you want very quiet nights.

We were there for four days and the villa went beyond what we expected. It’s a gorgeous, huge Balinese-style place, with large rooms and bathrooms, and the staff keep it very well maintained. The pool was just right, and the rooms were cleaned daily. Manager Mr. Putu and his colleagues were easy to communicate with. They helped arrange motorbikes and airport transport and shared plenty of advice during our stay. There’s a big menu of breakfast, lunch, dinner, and drinks, served restaurant-style thanks to Novi, the wonderful cook. Villa Kakatua is a three-minute walk from amazing Batu Bolong beach and the famous Echo Beach. Congratulations on the great work, and all the best!

It was hard to leave after eight days. The villa was relaxing and had all the amenities we needed, and the staff were fabulous. They treated my family like their own, met every request with a smile, and the chef made amazing breakfasts and dinners that were as good as any five-star restaurant. The location was great too.

The service was impeccable, and the beach was just a stone’s throw away. The place is a little older, with a rustic Balinese feel.
