Ambalama Villa

The pool is still a favorite, peaceful and well cared for, and the meals from the in-house chef are thoughtful and consistently suited to what we like. This was our third visit to Ambalama Bali, and Ayu's team made us feel looked after and at ease again. It really does feel like a home away from home. We already know we'll return.

We loved walking through the lush, peaceful garden and seeing how well the grounds are cared for. The villa itself was cozy and beautiful, and the team's welcome made us feel looked after from the start. Ayu took care of our group day and night, with kindness and great attention to detail. Thanks as well to Chris and Putu. The crew made most of our meals, including delicious BBQ dinners, at very reasonable prices. They helped with personal shopping and food orders too, always trying to accommodate requests with a smile. We had a wonderful, comfortable stay at Ambalama Villa and are grateful for the warm hospitality.

I liked the balance this villa offers. It has beautiful views and a peaceful setting in a less touristy part of Bali, yet Canggu and Seminyak are still close enough for their conveniences. The villa is stunning, and the staff are warm and accommodating. In other areas, I've felt I had to choose between scenery and luxury or convenience and things to do. Here, I found both.

I had a truly special holiday here. The rooms were well appointed, with fabulous outdoor showers, and the pool and shared spaces were beautiful. It was the most luxurious villa I've stayed in, and the lovely staff made us feel welcome while taking care of everything.
