Dian and Nafiah gave us attentive, personalised service and remembered our requests, making the stay especially memorable. Nafiah is a great example of a professional service provider. Win and the front desk team welcomed us warmly right from the start of the trip, and their hospitality felt genuine. They kept checking that we were comfortable throughout our retreat, and the rooms were cleaned and refreshed each time we returned. Everyone did their best to make us feel at ease, and we’d like to thank them for making our stay so comfortable and delightful. It really was a great retreat, and we’d like to come back.

The ocean views from the yoga shalas are beautiful, and the food selection was large, delicious, and made with well chosen ingredients. The Udara, Bali has so many beautiful details that it feels like a work of art. It opens the door to yoga, sound healing, meditation and all kinds of workshops on breathing, connecting with yourself, expressing emotions and more. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and I felt welcome straight away. Classes, workshops and the shared dining area make it easy to meet other guests. My booking also included a daily massage and free laundry service, which completed the stay for me. I highly recommend the resort and hope to return soon.
The food was healthy, clean and delicious, and the staff were so caring and attentive during my beautiful, restorative 10 days at Udara Bali. I loved the included treatments, the sauna and cold plunge, especially the aerial yin yoga classes and the sound and dream dome healing experiences. Bobbie, Jordy and the sound healing team were incredible. Thanks for such a wonderful stay. Highly recommended, and I’ll be back!
The restaurant and pool bar were a pleasure, with tasty food, fresh drinks and attentive, welcoming staff. I also went to the Sound of Svarga meditation, and it was wonderful. The dome’s striking design and acoustics made the session feel deeply immersive, relaxing and almost otherworldly. Udara Bali brings thoughtful design, good service and a calm atmosphere together in a memorable way. I’d happily return.
The food was one of the highlights for me. It was flavourful and healthy, with plenty of choices, and I liked being able to try something different each time rather than having a niche or restrictive menu. The variety of classes was also great, especially vinyasa, yin and sound, aerial yin, myofascial yin and release, qi qong and sounds of surya. I enjoyed the yoga shalas overlooking the ocean and the massages, and the staff were friendly overall. My room had most of what I’d expect at a 4 star hotel, but it wasn’t especially comfortable. It felt dark and small. Most rooms look onto the restaurant and pool or the yoga shalas rather than the ocean, so there isn’t much privacy if you sit outside or leave the curtains open for natural light. Lots of people come in for classes, and some film, so manage your expectations if you’re hoping for a retreat where you can switch off. It was most peaceful when it rained, since fewer people came for classes. The Sunday festival was very busy, and the focus on it made check in overwhelming. It would be good to have a lower foot traffic area reserved for staying guests, or some loungers by the beach, where people could relax outside their rooms and build a sense of community. The location suited me because I wanted to be by the ocean, but it’s less convenient if you want other amenities nearby. For a few days, I felt the stay was worth it given everything included. It’s a great place if you want to practice yoga.
