Savali Hotel

I had iftar with friends here during Ramadan, and it was a great experience. The staff were always smiling, and service was friendly, fast, and efficient, with no unnecessary delays. The clean place has lots of interesting statues and good photo spots, and the lobby was comfortable. I hope I can come back next year.

The staff were super nice and welcoming, and on arrival they gave us free drinks and food. Breakfast at the canteen was delicious and cost 12000 rupiah. I also loved the chunky, beautiful fish in the pond, their colors looked unreal. The pool is closed at night and opens at 6 or 7 in the morning, which sucks. The Wi-Fi isn't great, and if you can't connect yourself you'll need help from reception. There was loud noise from a nearby club or bar when I was trying to sleep. The bath towel was ridiculous, like a child's towel. Is that really the biggest one you can give a guest? I stayed from 2nd September 2024 and checked out on 3rd September 2024.

The hotel is totally run-down, and the room was filthy: hair on the bed, floor, and in the bathroom, lipstick on the sheets, and mold in the mattress. The shower was broken, and there was a huge rat on the ground floor. Service was okay at least. I asked reception about the dirty sheets left by previous guests, and they changed them late at night. The welcome drink tastes awful, so don't drink it. They do give you a cup of tea when you arrive, which is nice.

I had a hard time resting here. People downstairs talked and drank loudly until around 2am, and the thin walls carried every sound from the corridor. When someone knocked on our neighbor's door, we thought it was ours. The room was very dirty too, so I wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful night.
