Ora Resort Avia Blue Lagoon

The villas are set right on the cliff above the famous Blue Lagoon, and the view is the main draw. Waking up to that electric-blue water felt surreal, and sunsets from the in-house Klyf Club restaurant were some of the best in Bali. We could watch sea turtles swimming in the lagoon while eating. The food was surprisingly good, portions generous, and although it costs a bit more than local warungs, the setting made it feel worth it. The design has a rustic-chic feel, with circular layouts and big windows aimed at the view. Our bed was huge and comfortable, with premium linens and mosquito netting, and some villas have semi-outdoor showers. The private plunge pools and high walls give the villas a tucked-away feel for couples. The One-Bedroom Villa seems to be a good mix of intimacy and luxury. Honeymooners may find flower petals on the bed and in the bathtub when they arrive. Service is a real strength. The Balinese hospitality felt warm and attentive without being intrusive, and the staff remembered our names. They can help with scooter rental, massages, and arranging a boat to the mainland. From the Yellow Bridge, they often provide a free shuttle. For a cliffside stay with a private pool, king bed, and those views, it seemed like strong value compared with similar villas in Uluwatu or Seminyak. A couple of tips from what guests say: the island is easiest to explore by scooter, but if you don't ride, the hotel shuttle to the Yellow Bridge gets you to more cafes on Nusa Lembongan. Around 8:00 or 9:00 AM, people often spot giant turtles from the restaurant over coffee. Wi-Fi can be spotty on this remote island, so it's a chance to disconnect and spend time together.

The stay was great value, and the staff were friendly. The resort sits above the lagoon with wonderfully wide views. I especially recommend the sea-view pool villa, it felt absolutely worth the price. Coming from Bali, take the ferry from Sanur to Nusa Lembongan, then arrange a ride to the Yellow Bridge. You have to walk across the bridge to Nusa Ceningan, where the hotel can pick you up.

We were there with friends from 21-23 November, and the whole arrival was handled really well. The staff got us from the port to the Yellow Bridge and onward to the hotel, and reception had everything ready and explained the stay clearly. We booked the klyfokoko ocean view room, which all of us thought was great and clean. They kept us informed about the services, and we're glad we chose this resort over the others. Ceningan island and lembongan island felt peaceful and less crowded than denpasar. Thanks to the Ora Resort staff for the world class service. We'll come back in the future 😘

The location is excellent, but staying here was a terrible experience. Towels and pajamas had yellow stains, and the room facilities felt old. The door wouldn't lock properly, and rainwater came inside, which made me worry about hygiene. Cockroaches flew into the room and crawled on us, keeping me awake all night. Rats were running around outside the door too. Truly awful.
