Purist Beach

We were the first guests in this newly built villa, and it's good value for money. The place is remote and peaceful, with direct beach access and a private freshwater pool. They can pick you up and arrange things like a motorbike. The staff were very friendly, and we'd recommend it to anyone. There's no restaurant yet, so bring some refreshments or buy them at Kmart, five minutes away by motorbike. Enjoy your stay, and thank you to the staff!

We loved our six nights here. The villa is beautiful, breakfast was amazing every day, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. It felt like the sort of place where you almost don't want to leave. A welcome booklet with details about the villa and its services would help. We asked to have some laundry done just before leaving because we needed underwear, less than two kilos in all. At checkout the bill was 512,000rp, mostly for small items. I couldn't believe it. Earlier, when there were six of us, our laundry had cost around 75000, so I assumed a few pairs of underwear wouldn't be much. The company they use charges by the item. That's not the villa's fault since laundry is outsourced, but it would have been useful to know. It worked out to about $50nzd for less than one wash. Still, we loved our stay and would recommend this villa.

The setting is fantastic for a relaxing break. For vegetarians, breakfast options are fruit and bread, with different egg dishes also available. The egg Nasi Goreng was amazing. Lunch and dinner have to be eaten elsewhere, and there's a free shuttle to the sister hotel Arna if you let them know an hour ahead. Getting there takes some planning: we took a fast boat from Sanur Harbour to Nusa Lembongan, then a taxi arranged by the hotel to the yellow bridge. You have to cross the bridge on foot or by scooter, so don't bring very heavy bags. A shuttle then takes you to the hotel. The view from the villa is exceptional, and the sofas and bed were so comfortable we could sink right into them. There was enough light at night to find my kids' lost toys, too. Manager Erick and his staff Kadek and Gede were quick to respond on WhatsApp and happy to arrange activities and transport wherever we wanted to go. Fabulous place for a relaxing stay, a must go.

The house and its position are the best on the islands, absolutely beautiful. We spent five wonderful nights being looked after by Kadek and Gede, and I can't thank them enough. They made a delicious breakfast every day, and nothing was too much trouble. From the pool, we could watch the surf and the most amazing sunsets. We didn't want to leave and will definitely be back.
