We weren’t guests at his place, but found Kus on Google while planning our Gunung Padang trip. He was happy to guide us for a good price, shared lots of information and local stories, and was flexible and responsible. The tour felt unhurried, so we could take our time and chat with local people. After Gunung Padang, he also took us to a local waterfall and around the beautiful tea plantations. The place is basic, but there’s a lot of warmth and care from Kus and his family. I’d wanted to see gunung padang for a long time, and the trip there was amazing, with lovely storytelling. Kus arranged trips and was very helpful throughout. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who wants a local visit and enjoys learning about the culture.

Kus and his family welcomed us into their home and served typical Indonesian food. They were really kind and helpful, and we loved our three days there. It felt like a real immersion in Indonesian culture, with lots to see nearby. Would absolutely recommend!

Kus and Chepy made our time there amazing. The guest house has a very local feel, and we got to try all kinds of Indonesian dishes. Kus patiently explained regional customs and specialties. We also loved the outings with him, including the floating village, a trek on Mount Manangel, and a visit to the tea plantations. If you’re up for an adventure and want to spend time with Indonesian people, this place is great.
